La Molina

Spain's original ski centre (established in 1911) has now expanded with villages at 1400 M, 1600 M and 1700 M. Tree-lined trails overlooking the sunny Cerdanya Valley and one of the closest resorts to the Mediterranean. It is linked to neighbour Masella to create one of the largest ski areas in the Pyrenees.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to La Molina is Perpignan, 119 minutes drive away.

Barcelona, Girona, Toulouse, Carcassonne and Lleida-Alguaire airports are all within three hours drive.

When is La Molina open?

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Late April.

We don't yet have specific details of the COVID-19 precautions being taken in La Molina, but they are likely to include most of the following :-

  • Face masks required on lifts, and in shops.

  • Reduced lift capacity.
