British Ski and Snowboard Sochi hopefuls in action this weekend

Big weekend for Brit Ski and Snowboard Olympic hopefulsThis weekend sees many of Great Britain's skiing and snowboarding stars in action as they begin their journey towards qualification for Sochi 2014.
Team BSS Ski Cross racers will compete in the first World Cup of the season in Nakiska, Canada. In action will be Emily Sarsfield (who has already met the Olympic Qualifying Standards), Pam Thorburn, Ed Drake and Pete Whelan.
In Montafon, Austria, Team BSS Snowboard Cross athletes will also compete in their first World Cup of the season. Leading the charge will be Zoe Gillings who has already met her Olympic Qualifying Standard. She will be joined by Giorgia Rescigno in the ladies competition and for the men Thomas Bankes and Kyle Wise will be in action. They compete in the individual event on Sunday and team event on Monday.
Delancey Alpine Ski Squad athletes Dougie Crawford and TJ Baldwin hope to make an impact on the World Cup circuit as they compete in Super G, Downhill and GS this weekend in Beaver Creek, USA. Both are pushing for Olympic qualification.
The GB Cross Country team will also be in World Cup action in Lillehammer with Andrew Musgrave, Andrew Young and Callum Smith due to compete. Fiona Hughes and Posy Musgrave will be competing in a FIS race in Seefeld over the weekend.
