Port Ainé
Port Ainé, part of Ski Pallars in the region of Pallars Sobirá is a lesser known option of Catalan’s skiing areas. The resort is in a privileged position, facing north and just below the peak of Orri (2,440m) which means it enjoys brilliant snow – some even claim the snow quality is the best in the whole of the Pyrenees. The pistes are all within the High Pyrenees Natural Park, and the resort is known for the spectacular views over the mountains. The centrepiece of these runs is a huge 3km long meandering green run, the Pic de l’Orri Bellavista, that means even beginners can begin their excursions from the very highest point of the resort. Port Ainé can also boast a first class snowpark, cementing the resort’s place at the forefront of freestyle performance. Hotel Port Ainé sits at an altitiude of 2000m and is the highest hotel in the Pyrenees. Skiing for all standards including off-piste and a dedicated children's slope, apres ski in original villages of Rialp and Sort nearby.
