Pal-Arinsal Overview

Pal and Arinsal are separate villages, but are marketed together within the area known as VallNord.

Arinsal is at the western end of the La Massana Valley and is an attractive, if spread out, Catalan village, to the north of Andorra la Vella.

Pal lies at the head of the valley, north west of Andorra la Vella, in a National Park.

 Notable Ski Runs

The longest possible descent in Pal-Arinsal is 6km long and the most difficult run is the 'La Devesa'.

Skiing

For Beginners

The Prat de la Coma area is recommended for early skiers, whilst to the right of the mid-station are beginners tows and a large nursery area for first timers.

Early intermediates and progressing beginners can tackle some long blue runs - including one of the longest in Andorra (La Solana) from the top of the Pic Negre to Cota at the foot of the mountain.

Beginners typically start in Arinsal and progress to the slopes at Pal.

For Experts

There are challenging red runs and three black pistes at the top of the mountain, including La Devesa (probably the longest, steepest black run in Andorra) which runs under the chairlift from the base station.

Pal-Arinsal offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.
