The Swiss village of Sedrun is in the Swiss Alps at an altitude of 1,450m, with 50km of marked runs.


Sedrun is part of the Disentis Sedrun ski area with access to 168km of downhill skiing, with 18 marked pistes, served by a total of 10 ski lifts. From Sedrun you can ski to the other villages of Disentis. Sedrun is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Andermatt.


There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.


Sedrun offers some good boarding and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in Sedrun.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Sedrun is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, 122 minutes drive away.

Basel, Lugano, Berne, Friedrichshafen, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Sion, Zurich and Memmingen airports are all within three hours drive.


Ski Lift Capacity

The 28 ski lifts are able to uplift 24,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow Making

Snow-making is available, on 30km of ski runs, with 17 snow cannons.

When is Sedrun open?

 Open from : December 18, 2021.

 Closes : April 18, 2022.

Usual opening is mid December, and usual closing is Mid April.
