Plagne Soleil is part of the La Plagne ski area with access to 225km of downhill skiing, with 128 marked pistes, served by a total of 109 ski lifts. From Plagne Soleil you can ski to the other villages of Aime La Plagne, Belle Plagne, Champagny en Vanoise, Montchavin-Les Coches, Plagne 1800, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Centre, Plagne Montalbert and Plagne Villages.

The ski resort itself is at 2,050m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With ski lifts as high as 3,250m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Plagne Soleil is Chambery, 97 minutes drive away.

Annecy, Lyon St-Exupéry, Grenoble, Lyon Bron and Geneva airports are all within three hours drive.

To reach Plagne Soleil, the nearest major airport is Chambery Airport, about 110 km away, followed by easy access via car or shuttle. Alternatively, the train to Aime-La Plagne provides a convenient option for visitors.
