Summary

Zell am Ziller is part of the Zillertal Arena ski area with access to 322km of downhill skiing, with 143 marked pistes, served by a total of 112 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Zell am Ziller itself (47km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Zillertal Arena ski resorts of Gerlos and Königsleiten.

With ski lifts as high as 2,410m, snow cover is generally reliable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Zell am Ziller is Innsbruck Airport, 52 minutes drive away.

Munich, Salzburg, Bolzano, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Memmingen and Friedrichshafen airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
