The ski area of Thierbach is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,175m, with 2km of marked runs.

Thierbach is part of the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau area with access to 114km of downhill skiing, with 83 marked pistes, served by a total of 45 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Thierbach itself (2km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau ski resorts of Alpbach, Auffach, Kramsach, Niederau, Oberau and Reith im Alpbachtal.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Thierbach is Innsbruck Airport, 70 minutes drive away.

Salzburg, Munich, Bolzano, Linz, St. Gallen-Altenrhein and Memmingen airports are all within three hours drive.

Traveling to Thierbach is convenient, with Innsbruck Airport being the nearest major hub, located about 60 km away. Visitors can reach the resort via the A12 motorway, following signs to the Zillertal Valley.
