In addition to the skiing in Filzmoos itself (12km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Salzburger Sportwelt ski resorts of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Flachau, Goldegg, Kleinarl, Radstadt, St. Johann-Alpendorf and Wagrain.

Skiing
The resort is situated in the Dachstein-Tauern region, featuring the Bischofsmütze mountain at an elevation of 2,458 meters. Key ski areas include the Filzmoos and Neuberg, with notable pistes like the 4.5 km long 'Piste 1' and efficient lifts such as the Papageno and the Bischofsmütze cable car.
Filzmoos offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Filzmoos is Salzburg, 54 minutes drive away.
Klagenfurt, Munich, Ljubljana, Linz, Graz, Innsbruck Airport and Trieste airports are all within three hours drive.
Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Filzmoos is easily accessible via Salzburg Airport, located about 70 kilometers away. From there, you can reach the resort by car or shuttle service, making it a convenient destination.

The eight ski lifts are able to uplift 10,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, on 11km of ski runs, with 28 snow cannons.
Season Dates
When is Filzmoos open?
We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.
Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.
NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
Aprés Ski
After a day on the slopes, unwind at the cozy 'Schmiedhof' or enjoy a drink at 'Kraftwerk'. For a lively atmosphere, 'Piano Bar' offers a mix of music and socializing.
