The Austrian ski resort of Ehrwald is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1,000m, with 46km of marked runs.


Ehrwald is part of the Zugspitz Arena ski area with access to 116km of downhill skiing, with 30 marked pistes, served by a total of 47 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Ehrwald itself (46km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Zugspitz Arena ski resorts of Berwang and Lermoos.

With ski lifts as high as 2,965m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.


Ehrwald offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.


Ehrwald is highly rated by Snowboarders and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in Ehrwald.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Ehrwald is Innsbruck Airport, 60 minutes drive away.

Memmingen, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Munich, Friedrichshafen, Bolzano, Salzburg and Stuttgart airports are all within three hours drive.

Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
