Situated on the edge of Lake Te Anau, Birchwood Cottages is a 2-hour drive to Milford Sound, a scenic alpine drive. Lake Manapouri and Doubtful Sound are 20 minutes away by car.
Set among birch trees, the cottages offer a modern kitchen and satellite TV. Each cottage also includes its own private barbecue facilities.
Guests can enjoy fishing and hiking in the cottages’ natural surroundings. The property can book tours to Milford Sound, and discounted group bookings can be arranged.

One-Bedroom Cottage (Room, Sleeps 2, 1 Bathroom)
Features a queen-size bed in the bedroom, kitchen facilities, heating, satellite TV, telephone with free calls to Australia and New Zealand, and a sofa bed for 2 people. There are French doors to the private patio furnished with outdoor furniture and a private BBQ. The en suite bathroom includes a shower, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer and bathrobes. This room accommodates up to 3 guests.
Luxury Cottage (Room, Sleeps 6, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom)
Three-bedroom cottage featuring laundry facilities, air-conditioning and a patio with a BBQ and outdoor furniture. Full kitchen includes an oven, a refrigerator and a microwave. There is 2 bathrooms. Linen and towels are supplied and included in the rate.
Deluxe Cottage (Bungalow, Sleeps 6, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom)
This self-contained cottage features a large patio with a private BBQ. It has a kitchen, a laundry and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
Superior Cottage (Bungalow, Sleeps 7, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms)
This air-conditioned cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, refrigerator and a microwave. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, a DVD player and a telephone are also provided. There is 2 bathrooms. Guests relax in the private BBQ area which includes outdoor furniture. Please note that this cottage is a 10-minute walk from the main property. Please note that the eighth guest will be accommodated on a sofa bed.
