Brighton House is a 200-year-old, listed building and has the stairs to confirm this! As we don't have a lift, we advise anyone who has difficulty with stairs to take this into consideration before booking.
Important Information
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Brighton House in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Cancellation Rooms cancelled after midday three days prior to arrival will be charged in full unless the hotel is able to resell the accommodation. For rooms cancelled prior to the cancellation deadline (or where the hotel has successfully resold the room) deposits will be retained and may be redeemed against future bookings for a period of 6 months from date of cancellation. Access Guests have 24 hours access to their rooms but reception does close at 8pm. The hotel does not have a lift and accommodation on the 3rd or 4th floor may not be suitable for non-ambulatory persons. Children & Groups Unfortunately, our guest house is unable to cater for children under the age of 12. For the consideration of other guests, our guest house does not accept any groups such as stag & hen parties, but not limited to. Any group bookings made at Brighton House will get cancelled at no cost to the guest house. The property does not accept any groups including bachelor/bachelorette/birthday parties. If any group bookings are made over two rooms, the Brighton House reserves the right to cancel your booking and any relocation costs will be down to the guest.

Standard Double Room (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
These rooms are situated on the second, third and fourth floor, and have either a view to the front or rear of the building. Should you have a preference for floor or view then please request when booking (subject to availability). Please be advised that there is no lift and rooms on the third or fourth floors may not be suitable for less mobile guests.
Single Room (Sleeps 1, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Situated on the second and third floors, these rooms have their own bathroom, a TV, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Please be advised that there is no lift and rooms on the higher floors may not be suitable for less mobile guests.
Twin Room (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This second-floor room has with views to the rear of the building, and benefits from an en suite shower room.
Double Room with Four Poster Bed (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Overlooking the courtyard, this quiet room has a four-poster queen-size bed. The private bathroom has a bath tub and a shower.
Single Room with Balcony (Sleeps 1, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This room has access to the balcony with its view over the square and sea. It also features a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee.
Budget Single Room (Sleeps 1, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
These rooms are at the top of the house on the third and fourth floors. Please be advised that there is no lift and rooms on the 3rd or 4th floors may not be suitable for less mobile guests.
Twin Room with Bath (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Lower ground-floor courtyard room with 2 large single beds. It is fully en suite with a shower and bath. Please note: although filled with natural light, this room has no view.
Triple Room (Sleeps 3, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This lower ground-floor room benefits from the afternoon sun for natural light. It is one of the larger rooms, with 3 large single beds, and has an en suite shower room.
Double Room with Balcony (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Large and comfortable room on the first floor with an en suite bath and shower. The room has floor-to-ceiling bay windows, giving access to a balcony overlooking the square and the sea.
Twin Room with Bath (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Providing free toiletries, this twin room includes a private bathroom with a bath and a hairdryer. This twin room features an electric kettle, heating and a flat-screen TV. The unit offers 2 beds.
