Welcome to Tate House, an elegant and sophisticated Room-Only guest house located in the heart of Alnwick's historic town centre.
Important Information
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note, free parking is available in The Plough Hotel car park. Please note, that there is no reception staff on-site. This property is a 'room only' guest house and situated on the main road. Late check-in is possible until 23:00 all via a self-check-in service. Kindly note, the property cannot process payments from American Express credit cards, and an alternative card will be required. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Standard Double Room (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Bedroom 1 - Our smallest bedroom (single-use recommended) but, reasonably proportioned. Situated on the first floor to the back of the property. Sleep in a standard double bed. Tastefully decorated with neutral colours, spotlighting and solid oak furniture. It has a small en-suite shower room with a built-in baggage storage cupboard. This room has a private outdoor courtyard with access (via our kitchen) to the decking area. A small area to sit outside.
Superior King Room (Double, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Situated to the front of the house, this second-floor room overlooks the main street. This large room offers a King size bed, double glazing, a featured cast iron fireplace, and a large flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray DVD player. It has sole use of a large external shower room with a shaver point, heated towel rail, and a large shower enclosure. The private shower room is just outside the bedroom door, across the main staircase in a private part of the house with no other guest bedrooms. Situated to the front of the house, this second-floor bedroom overlooks the main street. This double room has a seating area, tea/coffee maker and electric kettle. Spacious room, situated on the first floor to the front of the house overlooking the main road of Bondgate Without. Its en-suite has a fairly spacious shower enclosure, heated towel rail, spotlighting, shaver point toilet/sink and a baggage storage cupboard.
Deluxe King Room (Double, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Bedroom 2 - A large spacious room, situated on the first floor to the front of the property overlooking the main street of Bondgate Without. It has a good size en-suite shower room and a built-in baggage storage cupboard. Potential for noise.
Deluxe Double Room with Balcony (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Bedroom 3 - A large, spacious room situated on the 2nd floor to the front of the property overlooking the main street of Bondgate Without. Sleep in a king-size bed. Includes a private Snug Room with a South facing sun balcony. A very well proportioned bedroom is tastefully decorated with neutral colors, spotlighting and quality furniture. You are on a private floor with no other guest bedrooms. External washroom facilities are just outside the bedroom door, with a huge 1200 x 900 shower enclosure. Potential for noise.
