Sjusjøen

Sjusjøen's lift is about 1.5km from the village centre and is known as 'Birkbeinerbakken'. This means 'birch legs' and was the name given to the people on skis who rescued the king's son, Hakon, during a civil war in 1206. Lillehammer is 20km away.
