Silbersattel boasts a modest ski area spanning about 20 kilometers of pistes, with elevations reaching up to 1,200 meters. Notable runs include the Slalom and the Family Run, served by the comfortable six-person chairlift known as the Silbersattelbahn.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Silbersattel is Hof-Plauen, 94 minutes drive away.

Nuremberg, Leipzig and Karlovy Vary airports are all within three hours drive.

Silbersattel is easily accessible via the A71 motorway, with the nearest major city being Suhl, approximately 30 km away. Travelers can also reach the resort from Erfurt-Weimar Airport, which is about 70 km away.
