Ounasvaara boasts a ski area with a vertical drop of 150 meters and a total of 8 kilometers of pistes. The main lift, the Ounasvaara Gondola, provides access to several notable runs including the family-friendly Hiihtokoulu and the more challenging P30.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Ounasvaara is Rovaniemi, 14 minutes drive away.
Helsinki, Tampere, Kittilä and Kuuasamo airports are all within three hours drive.
Helsinki and Rovaniemi are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Ounasvaara is easily accessible from Rovaniemi, which has direct flights from Helsinki. Travelers can reach the resort via car or local bus services, ensuring a straightforward journey to the slopes.
