Rowton Castle is a beautiful 17th-century Grade II listed building, set in 17 acres of tranquil grounds, and 6 miles from the historic market town of Shrewsbury. Some of the rooms have a four-poster bed, hydrotherapy bath or luxurious spa bath.

All classic bedrooms are located on the second floor of the castle, and most have excellent views of the castle grounds and surrounding countryside. The 3 family bedrooms consist of a double bed and a single bed, with space for a "Z Bed" (for children up to 10 years) or cot if necessary.
Rowton Suite (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This magnificent Georgian gothic room is perfect for honeymooning couples. Overlooking the front lawns, it has a four-poster bed, and a large Jacobean fireplace carved with dragons, which pre-dates the room itself.
Alberbury Suite (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Light and elegant, this suite has a canopied four-poster bed, a crystal chandelier, and is decorated in shades of cream and deep rose. From the tall sash windows there are the views of the entire garden and lime tree avenue.
Leighton Suite (Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
Grand and traditional, this room has a large four-poster bed and chandelier.
Cedar Room (Double, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
A spacious and traditional room featuring an arts and crafts four-poster bed. There is a view of an ancient cedar tree for which the room is named.
Oak Room (Double, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This charming room is located in one of the castle turrets and features a heavy oak carved four-posted bed with a cream fur quilt.
Yockleton Room (Double, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This traditional room features an oak carved four-poster bed that stands in its own alcove. It overlooks the gardens.
Melverley Room (Twin/Double, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This small double room has black velvet and orange silk hangings. From the cushioned window seat, you will see the gardens, the turret wall and the Linden Belvedere.
Avenue Room (Twin, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This unique twin room features furniture from the 1930's. The lime tree avenue can be seen from the windows.
Baldwin Room (Twin/Double, Sleeps 2, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom)
This spacious room has a French bed carved with roses.
