Skiing

Shizukuishi features over 20 kilometers of skiable terrain, with elevations reaching up to 1,200 meters. Key lifts include the Shizukuishi Gondola and the Karamatsu Lift, providing access to notable pistes such as the Karamatsu and Sawa slopes.

Shizukuishi offers good sking, particularly, for Beginner skiers.

How to get there

To reach Shizukuishi, fly into Sendai Airport and take a train to Shizukuishi Station. The resort is approximately a 30-minute drive from the station, making it easily accessible.

When is Shizukuishi open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is early December, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at local spots like the Shizukuishi Ski Resort Restaurant for delicious meals or the nearby bars for a relaxed atmosphere. Nightlife options are limited but cozy.
