How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Steamboat is Steamboat Springs, 16 minutes drive away.

Reno Tahoe, Yampa Valley, Vail/Eagle, Laramie, Sacramento and Aspen airports are all within three hours drive.

Reno Tahoe, Steamboat Springs and Yampa Valley are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

To reach Steamboat, the nearest major airport is Yampa Valley Airport (HDN), approximately 22 miles away. Visitors can also fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) and take a scenic drive or shuttle to the resort.

When is Steamboat open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November (Opens for Thanksgiving Holiday), and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
