How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Schweitzer is Appleton, 37 minutes drive away.

Austin Straubel, Central Wisconsin, Mitchell/Milwaukee and Madison airports are all within three hours drive.

Appleton and Austin Straubel are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Schweitzer is easily accessible via Spokane International Airport (GEG), approximately 75 miles away. From there, visitors can take a scenic drive or arrange for a shuttle service straight to the resort.

When is Schweitzer open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Mid April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at the popular Taps Bar & Grill or indulge in a meal at the Slopeside Grill. For nightlife, the popular The Handlebar offers a vibrant atmosphere.
