Bear Mountain

The ski area of Bear Mountain is at an altitude of 2,176m.


Bear Mountain is part of the Big Bear Mountain ski area with access to 29km of downhill skiing, with 33 marked pistes, served by a total of 12 ski lifts. From Bear Mountain you can ski to the other villages of Snow Summit.

With ski lifts as high as 2,683m, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.


There is skiing to suit a range of abilities.


Bear Mountain offers some good boarding and there are a variety of Snow and Terrain Parks in Bear Mountain.

 By Air

The nearest airport to Bear Mountain is Ontario, 90 minutes drive away.

John Wayne, Burbank and Los Angeles airports are all within three hours drive.
